Their debut offering, the VLC, is a versatile All-Tube Preamp and EQ combo that combines the legendary D.W. Fearn preamp design with modern functionality, delivering exceptional sonic transparency and headroom for a wide range of sources. Enlisting our component level modeling technology in concert with the team at Hazelrigg Industries, we were able to debut the world-class sonics of the VLC to the digital world.

A versatile mixing tool, the VLC features Mic, Line and Instrument input options. Each mode has its own unique gain structure, saturation and EQ curve, making it ideal for a variety of sources. Add some D.W. Fearn magic and breathe new life into any audio signal.

Featuring High and Low Cut and Boost with corresponding Frequency Select switches for a variety of incredibly musical tone shaping. Encouraging you to mix by ear with frequencies selected to be, as the Hazelrigg founders simply put it, “the right ones."
Built for modern workflows
Exclusive plugin only features enable modern workflows to this industry staple. Get instant parallel processing with Dry/Wet mix controls, use the input and output filters to high-pass or low-pass before and after the signal while working beautifully on mono or stereo signals; bringing the Hazelrigg sound to a new age.
