Electrodyne consoles were the very first to implement channel strips and automated faders, amongst many other innovations.

Utilizing our component level modeling technology, we partnered with Electrodyne to bring the revered curves and character of this classic 1960s EQ into the digital realm.

Accurately replicating the smooth, wide filter bands and euphonic coloration of its hardware counterpart, the 511 offers lush lows, silky highs and a clear punch that bridges the gap between well-known British and American EQs, making it the ideal tool for adding warmth and richness.

From the transformers to the op-amps, the Electrodyne 511 stays faithful to the hardware while offering modern features. Unlike the hardware unit’s stepped pots, the plugin allows you to freely manipulate each EQ band for even greater control, while maintaining the classic analog feel that made countless engineers and musicians fall in love with it.
