MixWave drums are not only great for composing demos, but are more than capable of sounding amazing on a finished product. I've never really been satisfied with any virtual instrument for programming drums until now. Game changer for sure!

I’ve really enjoyed using these drums for writing and putting down ideas, they sound awesome out of the gate so you don’t have to spend a lot of time making them sound good and instead can use that time to focus on writing and creativity. They also have really good dynamics, so you’re able to get a more human feel to the programming if that’s what you’re going for, enough can’t be said for something that gives you a great feeling to create with, all in all, great drums! I feel like I have been searching for the perfect drum library for years now. Drums are actually my first instrument, so I am super particular about them. There are some great companies out there but when I came across MixWave they just blew my mind. Their drum libraries are simply flawless. As if that wasn’t enough, they have also made some outstanding plugin replicas of some classic amps, my favourite of which is the Milkman Creamer. You really can’t tell the difference between the plug-in and the real thing. I feel as though MixWave are a company that really cares about the products they make and they are just a joy to work with in the studio. I was so impressed, I even bought their t-shirt!

These drum kits from MixWave have been indispensable to me when programming new live arrangements for the artists I work with. They allow me to get incredibly detailed, natural-sounding articulations across the kit to accurately depict what a real drummer would play live and to confidently use them as part of the arrangement when there isn't a live band involved. The quality and care put into the sampling of each individual element, plus the more 'finished' sound they provide right out of the gate, soars far above anything I've used in the past.
