The foundation
of the Benson sound.
The Monarch was Benson’s first design, developed through years of studying and rebuilding amplifiers to understand how circuits shape tone, harmonics, and response. After countless iterations, everything fell into place, becoming the foundation for all that followed.
Using proprietary component-level modeling techniques, each circuit has been recreated to preserve its feel, harmonic depth, and interaction. The result is a collection that captures why Benson designs are sought after by guitarists, recordists, and engineers around the world.

Benson Delay
Designed for repeats that feel alive. Textured and musical, it moves from tight slapback and modulation into expansive, degraded echoes with a smooth response. Modulation adds subtle movement to tape-like warble, while pushed feedback introduces controllable self-oscillation and evolving textures.

Benson Florist
A modulation effect that moves beyond traditional chorus. Built on dual delay lines with independent detector circuits, it creates anything from subtle thickening to complex, shifting interactions that blur into flanging and beyond. The GHOSTS function pushes both paths toward the edge of instability, unlocking more unpredictable, expressive sounds.

Benson
Germanium Boost
A deceptively simply device on paper. In reality, it accomplishes what people reach to a compressor for; it enhances the good parts of a signal, while de-emphasizing the unwanted bits. It’s a bit of a magic button that makes things sound more musical.

Benson Preamp
Based on the Chimera preamp, its substitutes vacuum tubes for FET transistors resulting in an extremely versatile pedal that's full of rich and musical harmonics.

Benson
Germanium Fuzz
While being the first pedal to incorporate Automatic Thermal Bias to combat the temperature sensitivity of Germanium transistors, it was designed to be a rich sounding clean boost, overdrive, or a gripping wall of fuzz.

Benson Tall Bird
A unique and versatile all-tube spring reverb unit that produces lush, sonorous tones ranging from polite and clean, to a euphonic and cavernous reverb by overdriving the reverb tank. By modeling two separate reverb tanks, this adds the ability to also apply reverb to a stereo signal.
Benson Monarch
At the center of the collection is the Benson Monarch Reverb. Its tone moves effortlessly from full, euphonic cleans into aggressive, harmonically rich overdrive, with a response that feels immediate and alive. A minimal signal path and highly reactive circuit design give it a uniquely dynamic, touch-sensitive character, translating every nuance of performance with clarity and depth. The tube-driven spring reverb adds dimension and space, interacting naturally with the amp’s gain structure to extend both clean and driven tones.

Cabinet
An extensive cab module of the Monarch’s dovetailed pine 1×12 cabinet, featuring the Benson Custom Ceramic speaker and a massive impulse response library captured at MixWave Studios. Accompanied by a world-class collection of 19 virtual microphones that can be placed effortlessly around the speaker.
