How does the Hazelrigg VNE plugin compare to the original hardware in your experience?

They recreate the tone, depth, and response of the analog units so accurately that I genuinely can't tell the difference in a blind test.

What types of sources or instruments do you typically use the plugin on?

It's extremely transparent and smooth in typical PWM fashion. I'm loving it on bass, overheads, and lead vocals.

Has the VNE replaced any plugins that were previously staples in your workflow?

When I need smooth compression I immediately reach for the Hazelrigg VNE. It has been winning a lot of blind a-b tests against my usual favorites.

Do you often use the MixWave: Hazelrigg VLC and VNE plugins together?

The Hazelrigg VNE and VLC plugins by MixWave have become indispensable tools in my signal chain. Used together, they deliver an incredibly musical and harmonically rich processing path that closely mirrors the analog experience.
